Quinta do Peru ranked 59th best course in Europe by World Golf Magazine recently.The Fairways are wide and are kept very well it's a pleasure to play on this course.

The course is very picturesque, and quite challenging with a pine tree lined finish. It's one of the newest courses to be built in the Azeitão region, and is very well maintained.

Located between the castles of Sesimbra and Setúbal, which is well-known for its palaces, wines, and cheeses.

The North American architect Rocky Roquemore designed the course, which is suitable for amateurs, and also a challenging course for professional players.

The 16th hole Par 3 is over 200 metres long, one needs to get over a lake to reach the green, it is considered the most difficult hole on the course.

The course, is parkland with many trees and wild flowers, the course is one of the most exclusive clubs in the Lisbon area, the toughest holes is the 13th a downhill par 5 and the 18th an uphill par 4.

Driving Instructions:

Quinta da Peru is about 30 minutes drive south of Lisbon, its very easy to find. From Lisbon Airport initially follow the signs towards the A1 North towards Porto, approximatly 3 Kms at junction 1 follow sign to A12 Sul-Ponte Vasco da Gama. Cross the bridge take the exit at junction 3 follow the sign to IC 13 - Montijo and Barreiro and follow the IC13 to join A 2 at junction 3 towards the golf course.
